Lake Stevens students deserve safe and healthy schools with room to learn!
Our students need your support! Join the effort to approve the Lake Stevens bond in the November 5, 2024 election.
We are a volunteer-run committee of parents and community members working together to advocate for voter-approved school funding for Lake Stevens School District. Like all districts in our state, we need to ask voters to approve funding for school construction bonds and operational and educational levies.
The November school construction bond funds:
SAFETY and SECURITY
-
Critical districtwide safety and security updates to ensure our schools are safe and healthy.
-
Expanding and modernizing Glenwood and Skyline Elementary Schools to create healthy and modern classrooms and fix flooding issues.
-
Secure perimeters and fencing at all our schools
STEM LEARNING
-
Creating a new classroom wing for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education at Lake Stevens Middle School, making sure students have access to career and technical education opportunities.

NEW CLASSROOM SPACE
-
A new elementary school to add capacity to our growing district and help keep our class sizes low districtwide.
-
Renovation of Glenwood and Skyline elementary schools to make sure all students have room to learn in safe schools.
-
Updated and expanded special education learning spaces in almost every school.
-
New gymnasiums at Hillcrest and Mt. Pilchuck Elementary Schools to create separate gym and cafeteria space, allowing educators more flexibility.
-
Build a secondary innovative learning center on district-owned land at the south end of Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School property to provide students non-traditional learning opportunities under one roof.
MAINTAINING OUR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY FIELDS
Make improvements to extend our PE and athletics programs for middle school students and meet the increasing community need for fields by:
-
Replacing the grass athletic field at Lake Stevens Middle School with artificial turf, install lights.
-
Improving community access to the field at North Lake Middle School, replace the current lights
